In order to pursue excellence in enhancing public safety and engaging with the community, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office will actively collaborate with community stakeholders to recognize collective objectives for the development of tangible goals. The members of your Washington County Sheriff’s Office are committed to excellence in providing law enforcement, detention, and public safety services. In partnership with our community, we will serve with integrity, commitment, accountability, and courtesy to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States and the State of Texas.

Vision Statement
The vision of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is to maintain a staff of well-equipped, highly-trained, professional members to provide the highest level of community service with an unwavering sense of valor. We welcome accountability in our actions and fiscal responsibility. We will utilize best practices and innovative ways to reduce crime and enhance the quality of life to ensure Washington County is a safe and attractive place to live, work, and visit.
