The command staff of our Sheriff's office offers our county some of the best trained and experienced law enforcement officers available. As the 27th Sheriff of Washington County, I pledge to our citizens to enforce our laws fairly and firmly, yet be guided by a healthy amount of common sense. Our Sheriff's Office is responsible for more than 600 square miles of roadway with law enforcement protection offered to the 34,000 citizens living from Carmine to Washington, Chappell Hill to Independence, from Brenham to Lake Somerville and everything in between.
